Taking a 1 hour flight from KL to Singapore, then catch another 6 1/2 hours flight from Singapore to Incheon, and the final stint is slightly shorter, a little less than 4 hour from Incheon into Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. That may sound like a 10-12 hour flight, but my trip starts around 8pm when I leave home, and arrive in the hotel at around 5pm the next day in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia.
Some view just before entering Yuzhno
This is Sakhalin, snow covered mountains
This should be roughly 60% of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, again covered with snow.
The sea, partly frozen still
I think they are starting to melt, at least looks like it.
The coast line
The in flight travel map on the Asiana, that shows we already just above Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk...

Meals in the air - February 2008
Chinese New Year - February 2008
Chinese New Years are always associated with long holidays, traffic jams, hectic schedules, hot weather, new year cookies and cakes, nice meals and some fun on the table.
This is a home prepared cooking device for scallop with a scallop shell.
Scallops in slices
Dipped into this burner and ready to cook
We also went on to dine at the new Red Rock hotel, famous for some dishes, e.g. Ginseng Chicken.
Yes, this is the ginseng chicken
This is one dish worth mentioning.. not sure how much it costs, but taste pretty good.
The fish dish.
Yes, no chinese new year is complete without a try of luck on the table..

Bali - Feb 2008 - Zoo
Visit these nice animals while I was in Bali around February 2008. Also one of the most expensive zoo that I have ever paid to visit.
But looking at those cute faces, I guess it is worth the money spent.
The piggie.
Sleeping tiger
White Tiger
Iguana?
This is a rather small size deer, so I'm not sure if its a mouse deer.
This bird looks familiar
Balinese bear, but not sure if there are bears in Bali.
Bear again.
The crocodile, resting and maybe waiting.
This is not a peacock, human or an animal, but just something I feel I'd regret not taking a picture of it.

January 2008 - Cars
Finally, I am starting to post pictures from 2008.
Ok, this is one rare post that you might only see once in a very very blue moon. Cars, Toy Cars.
Snap a picture of my nephew's new car.
Not able to withstand temptation, I've managed to help myself with a small replica of scale down McLaren for 2006, driven by my all time favourite driver Kimi Raiikonen.
The nose.
The car on the box
The car on the box, but front view.
It is controllable via a small watch like thing, of course nothing much if compares to a real RC.
