Beijing Day 3

Its a Saturday and because Shell TongYi works 6 days a week, we figured we better work too.

A long but productive day, with work progress of course.

Some language to I learn today...

Chinese New Year = Chun Jie

Project = Xiang Moo

Internet = Hu lian wang

10MB = shie zhao

Microsoft = Wei luan

There's still a long list of new words for me, but I dun think I can remember anymore for today..

Work finish at 515pm today(actually finished much earlier unofficially for me), so we decide to buy some TongYi staff dinner, as a token of appreciation from us for their help in providing us useful information and spending 5-6 hours a day in the meeting room with us. We let them pick the restaurant as we have no idea where to go.

Here is where we had dinner tonight... and this picture was taken after dinner. Missed the pictures for the food, maybe don't want to act funny in front of all these people that I'll be working with for the next two weeks?

This is the view from outside, food is nothing to shout about, really. But the service is 2 times above average. The server is always around to serve us, explain the food to us, and as we leave the main entrance, there were at least 5-6 waitresses lining up, saying thank you, good nite, etc. to us.
